International Law The resources listed on this page cover links to important sites for research in international law as a general subject, with some links specifically to sites emphasizing each of its two branches, public and private international law. These sites would include information about treaties, intergovernmental organizations, and some secondary interpretive material as well. Foreign and comparative law, however, are not the focus of these sites. Separate resource lists exist for international trade, human rights, arbitration, and intellectual property, all of which contain international as well as Canadian sources for those specific topics. International Documents: International Governmental Organizations ASIL Guide to Electronic Resources for International Law Contains sections on the United Nations, human rights, lists, newsgroups, networks, treaties, international environmental law, and international criminal law. The American Society of International Law One of the best sites on international law and relations. The ASIL is a world-wide organization, and publisher of 'International Legal Materials' and 'American Journal of International Law'. Includes activity and product information, bibliographies, articles, and links to other useful sites. Georgetown Law Library - Introduction to International Law Research Georgetown Law Library – Research Guide for Jessup International Law Moot court Hieros Gamos : International Law Provides links to principal international documents, treaties, and governmental agencies. The central UN page links to a documentation guide, a treaty database to which the library subscribes, the work of the International Law Commission, Womenwatch, and the entire human rights databases for charter and treaty based bodies, including jurisprudence under optional protocols.
