The database for French law includes court decisions, statutes, codes, and commentary on all major areas of French law. Database chronology varies with material type; jurisprudence goes back as far as 1960. One of France's oldest publishers of legal material, the online database is provided by Juris-Classeur Lexis-Nexis Group (France) and so brings together an encyclopedia of laws, primary texts, and access to La Semaine Juridique, one of two pre-eminent legal weeklies in France for scholars and practitioners alike. This new publication incorporates a Case Digest, a Legislation digest and a Bibliography Digest. The Law Reports has been published since 1865 when the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting for England and Wales was established. This work represents a new edition of the Encyclopedia of Public International Law that was published between 1991 and 2001 under Professor Dr. Rudolf Bernhardt.
