Fourth
Northeast Regional Law Libraries Meeting.
The 2007 conference was held in Toronto
from October 17-20, 2007, hosted by the
Toronto Association of Law Libraries (TALL).
Some 400 delegates attended -- librarians
and information professionals from law
firms, law schools, courthouses and
government institutions from across from the
north-eastern United States and eastern
Canada, and international delegates from
Australia, Brazil and the United Kingston.
The theme of NE2007 was
Libraries Without Borders, and offered a full,
diverse and challenging educational program
over three days, focusing on the theme
in all its senses -- the
internationalization of law, the
globalization of legal practice, and the
role of libraries and librarians in an
ever-changing world of information that recognizes no borders.
Delegates came together
to learn about professional and legal issues and to see how
our colleagues are taking librarianship
beyond its traditional borders.
